About this blog

This blog follows a rare demographic - a complicated Syrian Christian divorcée living in Mumbai. Complicating her life more are a floating menagerie, comprising a handsome former Man Friday called Genie, five voluble cranky fish, a rum-/yoga-loving mosquito called Norbert and many side characters that love mucking about with the narrator's mind (read from Fishy Chronicles 1).

Follow the narrator into the past when she's on vacation in Kerala with her father's conservative family... and things get ugly (a series from Episode 69).

The early essays in this blog are about life in Mumbai, poetry, some movie reviews and photographs. The first essays are by a person who has clearly not got her groove and is still trying to figure out what she wants to write about. That said, if it wasn't for those pieces I wouldn't remember those movies, or places, etc, or that I thought or felt a certain way.

All the Fishy Chronicles are fictional.
